Use of Computers and Multimedia
· Make sure you get up and walk around frequently, to keep the blood moving around your body and reduce your risk of pain and chronic disease.
· Set your desktop and chair at a height that is comfortable for you- you should be eye level with the monitor, and be able to have both feet flat on the floor. Forearms should rest comfortably on your desk.
· All electrical equipment should be tested and tagged to reduce the risk of fire caused by faulty cords or equipment.
· Please do not download any websites, images or programs onto the library computers. This could cause a virus to be uploaded into our system, or cause inappropriate images to come up which might inadvertently cause distress to the next user.
